Cardano’s Real-World Asset (RWA) potential is massive but physical commodities like gold and minerals remain off-chain due to missing traceability, tokenization, and compliance infrastructure. This proposal changes that.
In partnership with Alto Grande Oro, a Latin American mining group operating 14 mines producing 30+ minerals, we will:
- Trace mining operations end-to-end using Palmyra Pro’s modules.
- Deploy Proof-of-Reserve smart contracts for real-time custody audits.
- Launch the RWC Tokenization Engine for minting and burning commodity-backed tokens.
- Enable physical redemption protocols for token holders.
Integrate with Cardano DeFi (DEXs, lending, indexes) to unlock new use cases.
This ecosystem begins with gold, expands across Latin America, and positions Cardano as a leader in tokenized RWAs. Expected impact includes $5M+ worth of commodities traced and tokenized, 10+ tokenized batches in year one, and multiple DeFi integrations.
